Are fun and friendly, using modern, motivational methods.
We offer the opportunity for you and your dog to enjoy training alongside other dogs and their owners, in a relaxed atmosphere providing the foundations for a lifetime of happy and responsible dog ownership.
Our fun, reward based methods are kind and painless for your dog and have been scientifically proved to work more effectively than other conventional, corrective methods.
Clicker training is offered as an option in all classes, but you can choose to train without.
Our methods can be used by the whole family, although of course children should always be supervised when training the dog.
Our backgrounds include many years of pet dog ownership, including some with rescue dogs and competing in the main dog sports of Obedience and Agility with our own dogs.
Our Head Trainer is a qualified Pet Dog Training Instructor (IABTC), qualified Adult Tutor, holds qualifications in Clicker and Target Training and is a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors scheme (KCAI), working towards accreditation.
Both our trainers have represented the North of England at Crufts in their Inter-regional obedience team.
Has been established for 50 years, offering training to a multitude of local owners and their dogs and is the only Kennel Club registered club in Middlesbrough
Are designed to be affordable. Middlesbrough & District Dog Training Association is a non-profit making organisation, we only charge what we need to cover our costs.
All our trainers and assistants give their time for free, to help keep these costs as low as possible.
